Exverse Quarterly Update : New Maps, Sneak Peeks, and More!
Overview
Hey Exversians, thanks for dropping by! This month’s update is packed with cool stuff— from our latest playtests to some fresh features we just rolled out, plus a sneak peek at what’s coming next. Whether you’re a longtime player or just getting started, there’s plenty to catch up on. Let’s dive in!
1. Updates
From our very first Alpha Tournament, the Exverse team has been busy playtesting and transforming the game. We’re on a mission to make Exverse as esports-focused as possible, which means we’re constantly tweaking and perfecting it based on feedback. Check out the major changes and additions we’ve made!
Modes
New Mode Added: Team Deathmatch
One of the most requested modes from our community is Team Deathmatch, featuring a unique point capture mechanic designed to keep the action fast and the camping at bay.
Since these changes bring fresh gameplay dynamics, we’ve also introduced an assist system and revamped our leaderboard and ranking parameters to match.
2. Maps
2.1 City Streets
The City Streets map has been reworked in its entirety to feature new areas that add to the layers of strategic positioning. New point capture zones have been integrated for Team Deathmatch, destructive environment, ladders and yes, more explosive barrels.
2.2 Martian Research Base
We’ve introduced several map enhancements, including sniper cover with sand pits, revamped cover in capture-point zones (such as the Drilling Building, Garage, and Greenhouse), a reduced sandstorm duration, as well as vertical ladders and explosive barrels.
2.3 Port (New Map!)
Introducing our newest map — Port, which you might remember from our New Year playtest. Port boasts a vast landscape, plenty of hiding spots, impressive verticality, and dynamic weather conditions.
